    I ignored all of my weekend chores and read this book in one sitting! It was funny and romantic. I don’t like to know too many details about books that I am going to read..so..I will just say that this is a definite must read romance novel for this year….I am sure that the next two will be equally engaging! I can’t wait for them to get here! If you like humor in your romance (and who doesn’t?? really??) then this book is for you!

    Lucy Waltham has been the little sister for all her brother’s friends. Everything has been changing since some of her brother’s friends have married and now their fall hunting party is not the same. This year Toby plans to become engages and Lucy has loved him since she was a child. Lucy plans to seduce Toby but wants to practice her methods on someone — why not the stoic Earl of Kendall Jeremy Trescott. The chemistry and heat between the characters who torment each other is amazing… This novel is someone in two parts – 1st being the courtship and second their first few months together.

    Great Debut – off to order more Surrender of a Siren: A Novel (came out August 25, 2009) and A Lady of Persuasion(Coming out September 29, 2009)

    I really was excited to read this book after all the ‘hype’ and was greatly disappointed. Maybe I should have just bought it and read it – but because it was getting such great reviews I had VERY high expectations….

    I read about 150 pages and posted the book on a swapping site.
