It is President Obama is allowing his radical base to go on a witch hunt to prosecute and possibly imprison former President Bush for the torture that has come to get terrorists speak and tell of their plans of attack. Apparently, there is evidence that these procedures done to save us from a major attack in Los Angeles that could have killed hundreds if not thousands of people.
The opponents of torture say that the terrorists no matter, because torture is wrong. These same critics of torture I will not comment when asked what they think about terrorists cutting off the heads of their victims or draw holes with power tools in their captives.
Of course this whole thing gets worse as the Obama administration going to take public images of torture. These pictures will surely encourage the populations of Middle East and cause more people to join radical elements like Al Qaeda. This is really a godsend to the network of Al Qaeda, since it's a great recruiting tool.
No doubt Al Jazeera television that will play these photographs, tapes and if they can get to the Middle Eastern population, as did the pictures from Abu Grave. The whole concept of making these things public endanger U.S. citizens, soldiers and our allies, to encourage our enemies. This will hurt America's moral standing in the world and hurt our efforts internationally. It is described as a very bad move by diplomats from more and senior intelligence officials, so please think about this.
