Just got this book and have just started reading it. But before I read any book I look it over and I found with this book – in Appendix G: ‘Highly Recommended Reading’ that none of the books being recommended are what I would call class acts (books) in the tarot field. And a disappointingly I found that a huge portion of the book (166 pages) is made up of card meanings.

I will do another review (or two) when I get further along in the book but I have a feeling it’s the same stuff – just with a real long title.

I’m hoping for the best – but expect the same-oh, same-oh ‘parc’. So far I’m liking what I’m reading!

Having read numerous Tarot books over the years, I began to notice that as I turned over the cards, my mind would instantly recall the memorized, “traditional” meaning of the card as opposed to my intuitive abilities speaking to me. Since developing my intuitive abilities is my first priority, I felt it was necessary to “unlearn” those traditional meanings. So I began searching for a “workbook”, something that would have lessons where I could study at my own pace, a book that (hopefully) would have space on the pages where I could write my answers to the lessons, etc. Well, I found exactly what I was looking for! Mr. White’s and Ms. Judy’s book is the perfect Workbook! Lessons are focused on what you, as the reader, feel the card is saying. I’m currently on Lesson 5 and already have a greater sense of confidence that I had before. I couldn’t be happier. A+!

“The Easiest Way to Learn the Tarot-EVER!!!” by Dusty White is an excellent

tarot tutorial. Mr. White is intelligent, witty, opinionated, and highly knowledgeable.

His exercises for learning to bond with one’s cards are very creative. There is copious room for the

student to make notes of the results of exercises. There are illustrated pages for all of

the deck with places to write feelings. I would suggest that the advertisement for Mr White’s

school not be on all of these pages. But this is a minor consideration with all the wonderful points of this book. Also there are many samples

and illustrations so the student isn’t left guessing what the author meant for an

exercise, also the free online support is worth the price of the book. The exercises aren’t dry and dull either. They are deceptively amusing

and fun. The appendixes have more information on continuing one’s studies, and

many sources of information. This is a great book for a beginner or someone wanting

    to deepen their knowledge.
