I bought these cards to see the art work. There is so much talk about the beautiful art work on them. The art work is okay. I think if you are a professional artist. You’ll see the problems that I saw. But most people don’t care about that stuff. SO the deck has it’s bonuses. It’s imaginative, pretty and huge.

The book is cute and fun writing style. She is very imaginative with the story concept. I really enjoyed the fun atmosphere she creates in the writing.

The packaging, is beautiful. I half to say, that the outside of the box got me to purchase it. Though I’m disappointed with the artist work on the cards. It’s okay, not every card has to be perfect.

I’m not trying to be mean or harsh on the artist. The mistakes I saw were things like color mistakes, blurred edges, inconsistent lighting effects and modeling expression issues, and to much stock work. But I only wish that someone would have scanned in a large resolution image so I could have seen the mistakes before hand.

My guess, is that there wasn’t a lot of critical critiques going on during the making of the cards. My professors of art would fail me if I turned in work like this. But they are way picky and hard on me to.

Overall, I’m impressed! The artist did a huge body of work. It’s mostly original. The packaging is beautiful, the book is well written and the cards are good enough for most people with out the artist critiquing eye. School has ruined me. Now, I see mistakes in art and typography.

But I really wish the cards were bigger. There is so much detail in them or at least the books tells me there is but some of it is just lost due to the smallness of the cards. I love the book but would not have made the cards a part of my collection if I had taken the time to view them in person first at a store.

The title of this deck really suits it. I was struck by how much the photos of cards available on the internet to advertise this deck really reminded me of my own dreams; because of that, I was pretty sure I would be able to interpret them without needing a book. Of course, when I did a reading, I checked my impressions against the book’s descriptions, and they were the same.

This is one of the prettiest decks I have seen, and it does seem to read rather well, too. The other reviews here pretty much say it all. Like another reviewer, I wish the borders were slightly smaller, so the pictures could be larger — but the borders are still lovely. My only real complaint is that the cards are very thin, and I feel I am going to have to be extra careful not to damage them or wear them out.

The artwork is mystically beuatiful, with an emphasis on the feminine and the moon. The imagery follows fairly close to traditional decks, but there are some differences which does make difficult for serious students of Tarot and Qabalah. So if you are just starting to study Tarot, including what traditional “authorities” intendended to teach, then this is not the deck start with. But I recommend this deck for those that appreciate the beautiful art of this deck’s theme.

The images are veautiful and a delight to behold. They also provide a powerful sense of meaning to each card.
